Website visits and technical data

When you request this website, your IP address and technical information needed for the HTTP request are transmitted to the servers involved. The website serves static content. The web server keeps access and error logs. These data support content delivery, secure operation and the investigation of technical errors or abusive access.

Hosting and Cloudflare

This website’s web server is hosted at Hetzner. We use Cloudflare, Inc., USA, for delivery and security services in front of the server. Cloudflare processes connection and request data, including IP addresses, to deliver content and detect abusive access. Cloudflare operates an international network; processing outside Switzerland and the EEA, particularly in the USA, is possible. Cookies and your choices

Only your manually selected language is saved as keller-itc.language in local browser storage (localStorage) until you delete it or choose “Browser language” in the language menu. Without a saved choice, the entry address uses your browser language, with English as the fallback for unsupported languages. The stored preference is not transmitted to us. The website itself sets no cookies. Google Analytics, advertising pixels and other optional analytics or marketing services are not integrated, so there is currently no related consent choice to make. Cloudflare may use cookies during security checks to recognise a completed check and prevent automated abuse. Whether a cookie is set and how long it lasts depends on the protection triggered. Its official documentation explains functions and durations. You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking security cookies may cause repeated checks or restrict access. These notices and the required choices will be updated before optional services are introduced.

Contact and other functions

If you email or call us, we process your contact details and the information you provide to respond and discuss a possible collaboration. The links open your own email or telephone application. Please avoid sensitive personal data in an initial project description. This website has no contact form, user accounts, newsletter registration, embedded maps or videos, or externally loaded fonts.

Retention

The website has no visitor database of its own and uses no analytics or advertising services. Local access and error logs on the web server are configured to rotate daily. Seven archived log files are retained in addition to the current file; older rotations are replaced automatically. This setting applies to local web server logs and is not a single retention period for additional backups, data at Cloudflare or your correspondence with us. Your rights

Subject to applicable data protection law, you may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to processing and, where applicable, request delivery or transfer of your data. We examine requests and may ask for information needed to verify your identity. Legal obligations may prevent deletion. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
